• Geographical Meaning: Marmara Region

  • One of the seven geographical regions of Turkey, located in the northwest.

  • It takes its name from the Marmara Sea, which lies at its center.

  • It includes provinces such as Istanbul, Bursa, Kocaeli, Balıkesir, Çanakkale, Tekirdağ, Edirne, Bilecik, Kırklareli, Yalova, and Sakarya.
